Every year, all Facilities Management staff are required to complete a cybersecurity training released by the Division of IT, and hosted on the Litmos platform. This article will answer some common questions and provide brief instructions on accessing the training.




What is the Annual Cybersecurity Training? 

  • The training is a self-paced online series that will walk users through several videos with checkpoints.
  • The training is hosted on the Litmos platform and can be accessed through the Cybersecurity webpage or going directly to Litmos.
  • Individuals should see the training populated in their profile.
  • A Spanish translated version of the training is also available.



Who is required to take this? 

  • ALL CSU System employees working on any CSU campus.



When is the deadline to complete it? 

  • The 2025 deadline for completion is November 1st.



What happens if required users do not complete the training by the deadline? 

  • Those who do not complete the training on time risk losing their access to CSU system data and services.




Accessing the Training


You can access the Cybersecurity training via the Litmos platform.


On the welcome page, you can click NetID Login to be taken to a login page:




On the dashboard page, if you have not yet completed the training, you will see it available here:




On the course info page, click Start this course to begin:



When you have finished the training, you will be brought back to the above page, which will indicate 100% completion:


As long as this page displays 100%, there is nothing further you need to do, and you can close the window.
